Days of '47 rodeo

This was at the rodeo in the Energy Solutions center downtown. This guy was amazing. He would ride his horse on top of this trailer and do a whole bunch of turns and then jump down. Then they brought in these buffalo and they did the same thing. It was really incredible.


We went with Grandma Hale, Aunt Alisa and Joni. It was really fun. Spencer loved it!!

Ouch!!

This is Spencer after his fall the night before. He biffed it on the concrete using his head to stop the fall. Can you see it on his forehead? It was pretty bad.
I know what this looks like, so that's why I had to grab the camera. Funny, huh!!!

This is at Aunt Alisa's house after a long day of playing in the water. He got drenched and we took his clothes off to take him home and I couldn't resist, I had to style his hair. This is just evidence that it's time for a haircut for the little boy.

More of Matthews reunion

Spencer took every opportunity he could get to ride the "horsies".
He also took every opportunity to hug the horses.
Again more hugs.
This was the clan that attended the reunion this year. A lot smaller than usual. Everyone has such busy lives nowadays. But it turned out great. We had a good time.

Matthews family reunion

This was at Uncle Tom's cabin in the Uintas. We had a fabulous time at the reunion (Mom Hale's family). Spencer had a great time with his cousins. He wouldn't stop hugging them. I don't think they minded much though.
Spencer loved this horse. He had to wait his turn since there was tons of kids and he was a pretty good sport.
But his favorite was the horses Uncle Ron brought from his place in ID. We thought he's be a little more timid being on the back of this huge horse compared to his toy ones, but not our Spencer. He got right up on them and kept hugging them. He absolutely loved it!!!
I don't know exactly what this picture is. It looks like a "hear no evil, speak no evil" picture, but really I have no clue what he's doing. It turned out cute though, so oh well.
