Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Introducing Lincoln Bradley

This is our new family. I can't believe how much he looks like his big brother. Except for the chins. Lincoln has a butt chin and Spencer doesn't.
Lincoln was 7.13 and 20 inches. Exactly like Spencer (Lincoln was just 1 oz bigger).

Proud dad picture below.

Spencer's first encounter with his little brother. He was super soft with him, it was so cute.

This is right before they induced me. Spencer was so excited (probably more because his cousins, Grandparents, and Aunts and Uncles were coming). He kept touching and kissing my belly. I told him this is the last time this would be cute and that after today it won't be so cute.

It's official!!!

So I went to the doctor yesterday and we had another ultrasound of Lincoln. She told us that the fluid around him is decreasing too much from the last appointment so she whipped out her date book and we set a date.

10-15-08 (probably)

We will be going in Tues night to start the drugs and it'll likely be Wed sometime he will join the family!!! I'm so scared!!! It really hit me on the way home that this is happening. I mean, I knew eventually he'd have to come out, but now there's a date set and I'm just freaking!! It's not the birth part that I'm scared of either, it's the bringing another baby home and how am I going to be with two. Spencer is a pretty good kid and I know he'll be great with the new one, but am I going to be? I think I lucked out with how well behaved Spencer is.

I know it's just nerves and I will be fine, but it's just a new adventure that's happening NEXT WEEK!!! WOW!!

I just want all of you to know that I love you so much. You have impacted my life in ways you will never know. Each and every one of you have been an inspiration to me and I love you all for that. I hope you are all well and loving life. You are all the best.

I will post pictures of Linc as soon as I can.

Papa Bowler's birthday weekend

This was our trip to St George. We went to the cabin one night and had a fun time. Spencer just loves being at the cabin. The picture below is Spencer holding a bug......he's such a boy!!! The picture to the left is Kelsey. She's adorable!!!

Spencer had a great time with all his cousins. He was loving all the time with them.

This Tessa girl is so fun!!! She's so cute.
This is just a cute picture of how he fell asleep in the car. He has his hands folded in his lap. PRECIOUS!!!!!

Beauty & The Beast!!!! Raaarrrrr!!!

This is Spencer's Halloween costume and he's with Brenna who is the prettiest princess ever!!! We went down to St George for a quick trip and celebrated Papa Bowler's birthday. It was our last time down before Lincoln comes.
We had a great time with everyone and Spencer and Brenna were inseparable. It was so cute. They had a blast together!

Spencer's 2nd birthday

So these are more pictures of Spencer on his birthday weekend. He loved Jungle Jim's and I was going to make him an Elmo cake (which is his favorite thing nowadays - anything Sesame Street) but it didn't happen......yet. I still plan on making it, but since Grandma Bowler and Grandma Woodbury were in town we decided to just get one for now so they could be there.

It really turned out nice because we went to a birthday party for a family member of Grandma Woodbury's and when we were there we sang to the birthday boy (Grandma's relative) and Spencer was singing until it got to the name part of the song. We have been singing "Happy Birthday dear Spencer" all weekend long and when it didn't happen he looked around at all the people there and was so confused. So Grandma Bowler told everyone that his birthday was the day before and they decided to sing to Spencer. It was so cute (I cried) and Spencer was elated. He just beamed at all the people singing to him. Then when we left they gave us a birthday cake to take home for him. It was so sweet of them and that's how we got the cake.

On a much sadder note: Grandma Woodbury started feeling ill on the way home from that party that we took her back to our place and Jason gave her a blessing. She slept fine (she says) until around 5:30am. Vicky was out on the couch and heard a faint voice calling her name. We then got woken up around 6:30 asking if we could help get Grandma Woodbury in the car to take her to the hospital. She was in the tub soaked when we went upstairs and we ended up calling an ambulance. Her blood sugar (she has diabetes) was all over the place and they regulated her heart and that also was irregular. She spent the night at the hospital and she went home the next day. She is a strong woman who we love dearly. That was a very scary situation. She is such a terrific woman with such a great personality. When we got to the hospital she was in such good spirits. We love her so much & Spencer just adores his "Gamma W". She is doing fine now and hope it stays that way.

More Jungle Jim's playland

These are the bumper cars. He laughed so hard when he ran into another kid. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

We played skee ball and Spencer cheated just a little. We did get a lot of tokens this way though.
