We went to a dear friend's wedding up in the snowy country. It was FREEZING!!!! At night it was -35 degrees. We went to Afton, WY, it was so fun. It had been a while since I've been back so it was so good to see all our great friends again.
Lincoln pretty much slept all through the wedding ceremony and reception. This is when he first woke up, he's probably thinking, "I'm STILL wearing this tie".
Spencer was the bell of the ball (is that the saying?). He was the entertainment for the evening. Everyone thought he was so cute and funny. He would go up to complete strangers and cross his arms over his chest, tilt his head to one side and say "WHAZZZZ UP". He then would respond with the same gestures and say "NOT MUCH" I have no idea where he got the response but one of the gals at the party showed him how to do the "WHAZZZ UP". He then would go around giving knuckles to everyone, now this is the tell-tell on what generation people were in, if he went up to a younger crowd holding his fist out saying "knuckles" they would do the right thing by banging their fists together, NOW the older generation would respond by holding out their hand as if he was going to drop something into their hands. It was quite funny to see which ones were which.
This was a little cutie, Nikki Jo, that was related to the bride and Spencer LIKED her ALOT. He first used the eyebrow raising approach to seduce her and then that was it. She was his. The walked around the whole night holding hands. He would come up to me and say "Mom, my girlfriend " and introduce her to me. It was so cute, but a little scary at the same time. He is definitely a ladies man. What a little gentleman, he went and scooted this stool over for her so she can get a drink.
