Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Easter egg freeze, I mean hunt.

So every year we take the kids to the Herriman Easter Egg Hunt, this year we were a little crazy to go. It was FREEZING!!! Now normal people can just put on warm clothes and be fine in the cold, but my kids are a little different, they were lucky to get their mom's circulation in their hands and feet and soooo they were popsicles by the time the hunt started. Usually they have it out on the grass in groups, but since there was about 6 inches of snow on the grass they had it under the pavillion. We were one of the first to get there and we waited and waited and waited for it to start. It was insane!!! All the age groups around this small rectangle. They did do the hunts by age groups, but ALL the ages were surrounding this area so it was crazy. So by the time it started, Lincoln went first and his hands were frozen so when the horn blew he just freaked because he couldn't pick anything up, his hands were like ice. He even had gloves on until then.
So this is Spencer's hunt, it was insane, Spencer had fun though. Parents just need to settle down, it's not like they can't go out and buy their kids candy if they didn't get a lot. Parents are the worst in these situations. So pushy!!!
This is before the hunt even started, thank goodness we got this picture because he didn't get one thing when the horn blew. He just started crying and we took him to the warm car (grandma hale stayed with him, we didn't just leave him there alone, man you do you think we are, bad parents or something, don't answer that)
Lincoln giving me the look of, "what have you got me into, mom."
This is how the boys stayed somewhat warm before the hunt began. They had about three coats aroung them and gloves on, sitting in the stroller with the hood over it. And they still were cold. AHHHH! It's frustrating having my condition. Sorry boys, that's one thing I didn't want to give you.
This is before the whole thing. Happy boys.
