Spencer turned 7 on Sept 18th. We put on a Lego party for him. He got to choose which friends to invite and since he's been in 2 schools now....we invited 24 kids. I know....insane. But it turned out really fun. We had it all planned out to the minute, which was perfect. When the kids arrived, Spencer was there to place a lanyard around their necks that said, "Official Lego builder". Then the kids came downstairs to color their own Mini fig.
When all the kids arrived, we played a building game. The kids split up in twos and had 2 minutes to build the tallest tower. It was really fun. The kids got really creative and they had a blast counting down the time.
This was the girl couch. They would cheer on the girls and the boys for the boys.
This was the winning team. They did an awesome job.
After the building game we had a Lego Bingo game. Spencer would choose a Lego minifig picture and if they had it on their board, they would cover it up with a Lego piece.
Next it was cake and ice cream time, but Spencer wanted Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a fruit and veggie tray. It turned out perfect.
Present time!! We also made Lego brick necklaces and rings and masks. Then our time was up and they all went home and mom got to breath again.
Our necklaces and lanyards.
Spencer's present from mom and dad and Grandma Hale. It was a great day.
Quincy wanted to try out his bike.
