Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Whenever I put Lincoln down Spencer runs over with a blanket and a book and reads the book to Linc. It is so cute.

Spencer will find ANYTHING to use as a phone. This is from Grma Hale's bathroom. It is a handle to put on the bathtub to help you get in and out. He uses it to call Papa, Alisa, Deanna and Christian, all his Grandmas.........

This was the deciding factor on going to get his hair cut. When you can do this in the bathtub, it's time!!!

Time Flies!!!!

Ok, I realize it has been FOREVER since I've posted. I'm sorry!!! Everytime I go to do it, I have a little distraction. Anyways, this is the stuff we've been up to.
We went to a dear friend's wedding up in the snowy country. It was FREEZING!!!! At night it was -35 degrees. We went to Afton, WY, it was so fun. It had been a while since I've been back so it was so good to see all our great friends again.

Lincoln pretty much slept all through the wedding ceremony and reception. This is when he first woke up, he's probably thinking, "I'm STILL wearing this tie".

Spencer was the bell of the ball (is that the saying?). He was the entertainment for the evening. Everyone thought he was so cute and funny. He would go up to complete strangers and cross his arms over his chest, tilt his head to one side and say "WHAZZZZ UP". He then would respond with the same gestures and say "NOT MUCH" I have no idea where he got the response but one of the gals at the party showed him how to do the "WHAZZZ UP". He then would go around giving knuckles to everyone, now this is the tell-tell on what generation people were in, if he went up to a younger crowd holding his fist out saying "knuckles" they would do the right thing by banging their fists together, NOW the older generation would respond by holding out their hand as if he was going to drop something into their hands. It was quite funny to see which ones were which.

This was a little cutie, Nikki Jo, that was related to the bride and Spencer LIKED her ALOT. He first used the eyebrow raising approach to seduce her and then that was it. She was his. The walked around the whole night holding hands. He would come up to me and say "Mom, my girlfriend " and introduce her to me. It was so cute, but a little scary at the same time. He is definitely a ladies man. What a little gentleman, he went and scooted this stool over for her so she can get a drink.

Here he is making his move with Nikki Jo. She was in his trance.

Spencer loves his brother, sometimes a little too much or should I say, a little too hard. He likes to come over and give Linc a squeeze. A hard squeeze. "S'getti" night. He goes right into the bathtub after.

Spence just being Spence.

I had to. They are just too cute and chubby.

Lincoln has been so smiley ever since his operation. No more colic from this kid. He is just a happy boy now. I knew it was his belly button that was causing all the problem.

This was right before we went to church. I couldn't resist, I had to take a picture. I know I'm obsessed.

Spencer thinking

Spencer and Jason went to the car show at the expo center. Spencer loved to sit in each car. I have to say he has pretty good taste. He is leaning on a VERY expensive car.

Now he's touching a VERY expensive car.

This is another picture of Linc in the hospital. He's so little.

Lincoln gets fixed!!

OK, everyone, he didn't get fixed that way. It was his herniated bellybutton that got fixed. Wow! I know how that sounded, but no,we took him into Primary Children's Jan 17th and everything went really well. We had a 9:15am appointment time and the night before we had to feed him water starting at midnight and then after 7am we couldn't feed him anything. I was so nervous that we would have a screaming kid all night long, but he did great. He took the water fine and he was all smiles even at 11:30am when they finally took him back.
This picture was when he was coming out of anethesia. It took him a while but he did great. The worst part was taking out the IV. Why do they have to use so much tape? It hurt me just watching them remove it.
This was the "gown" we had to dress him in for the operation. They were more like jammies.

These next two pictures were right before they took him back.

This picture was taken right before we bleft for the hospital. We had to wake up Spence so we can have family prayers and take this picture, he was still pretty sleepy.

Boys, Boys, Boys

I don't know if I put in this in yet and I really am too lazy to see so if I did, oh well, it's a cute picture of Linc.
These little scrubs were given to Linc by Grma Hale. They are super cute, you put their name and info on the pocket. I am going to eventually frame them so I thought he should wear them first.

If you know me, you know I love shoes. Baby shoes are my weakness, and these little tennys are so itty and cute.

We went to Sam's birthday party (thanks for inviting us, Toledos) last Sunday up in Layton at their gramdparents house. The kids had a blast playing the Wii. I can't believe how well Spencer does. He's only 2 and he kicks my trash. He beats me at the tennis and golf. It's unbelievable. The Toledo fam is so great. We had a fun time and we love spending time with all of you. Your kids are awesome and Spencer adores them all. He asks all the time if we can go to Sam's birthday party. Apparently he still thinks your at that house having a party. Anyway, thanks again for inviting us. We love you guys!!! And Happy Birthday Sam!!!

These outfits are so cute. Grma Woodbury gave them to the kids for Christmas. I LOVE THEM!!! I put Spencer in his and he went over and handed me Lincoln's. He told me to put it on Lincoln so they can match. Even though Lincoln's was 6 months size, Spencer didn't care. He told me to "put it on Lincoln RIGHT NOW" yes he is that bossy lately. We've got to nip that in the bud RIGHT NOW.
