Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Burley visit

This has been in front of my Grandparents house for as long as I've been around. I have so many memories on this wagon. So now Spencer and Linc have pictures on it also so they can have memories on it.
My Grandpa carved this Snoopy out of a huge tree out front of his yard A LONG time ago. Grpa said he had two big trees out front and one was Snoopy and the other was going to be Charlie Brown but it was rotten inside so he had to just chop it down and that's where the wagon was put. That would've been super cute. So it's just Snoopy and it will be there for more years to come. I love it!!!!

Grpa carved this walking stick probably 12 years ago, it has all the families last names carved out of it and then we signed our first names around it. It's so cool, he is a master carver. You can see the name Hale under Spencer's hand, if you look close.

Lincoln wouldn't stop staring at Grpa. It was so cute. Grpa Gorringe nicknamed Linc, "Lil' Abe". I love it!!

Grpa was a good sport when it came to my crazy picture-taking habit.

Mom Hale and the boys and I went to ID to visit a great friend from CA that just moved to the Boise area and on the way we made a needed stop in Burley to visit our awesome Grandpa Gorringe. We had a great time with him and took some much needed pictures. We love our Grandpa!!!!
Spencer loves playing Grpa Gorringe's organ. That's the first thing he went to after the hug to Grpa, of course.

This was taken at Deanna & Christian's house. Their place is super cute. Spencer LOVES visiting "his Deanna & Kisschin" as he puts it.

Easter Entertainment!!!

Yeah, it's that good!!!
Uncle Kev and Brett entertained the kids by throwing them. They had a blast and went back for more over and over and over again. They wanted to do it so much that they had to move from uncle to uncle when one would get too tired. Not the kids, the adults.

Micah mid-flip.

Spencer mid-flip.

Lincoln just enjoying the day.

Happy Easter everyone!!!

A good back rub from a good cuz. So cute.
Spencer with one of Micah's easter ponies.

Lincoln was so good the whole day. He just loved looking around watching the craziness.

I can't not take pictures of this little girl. She is so adorable.

Two cuzin's hangin' out

Easter day!

After we ate a delicious meal with funeral potatoes and ham (is that the universal meal of all Mormons?) we then dyed Easter eggs with Micah and Spencer. We stripped both kids down and put aprons on both of them (no pictures of those because I was helping dye eggs) and this is what the back of Spencer's apron looked like. I reminds me of those hospital gowns and the nice opening in the back.
I think the stickers that were supposed to be on the eggs made their way on the kids instead. Micah had a blast putting them on everyone including Spencer.

Tan little Tenille with Lincoln. Kev and Tenille just got back from Hawaii. She went over and joined him after he did some electrical work over there for most of March. She went over for 8 days and they brought the sun back with them in the form of a tan. They are both so dark, I am not jealous or anything. If you believe that, I have some ocean front property in Utah to sell ya. I am super jealous. They are sooooo dark. She looks like she's wearing nylons, but she's NOT. They both look so good. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Now you have to understand that his chair that Kev's sitting in is about 60 yrs old. And if you can't tell it's a child's size rocking chair. He can get his boney little body to fit comfortably in it too. He is so skinny. It makes me sick.

Two of the cutest kids around, I think, minus some of the other cuties in our family. Mainly all of Spencer's cousins are in that category.

Easter with the Hale's

We had a cute little Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday with Spencer and Micah. They had both practiced the day before so they were all rarrring to go. It was so fun. They both a bundle of eggs. Their was some with Little Pony's in them and the other with Hot Wheels cars. So after we divided them up.

After the extravaganza.

Ready to hunt.

Micah's loot. My little pony's with bunny ears. She is such a cutie pie. And what a personality, Spencer and Micah had such a great time together. They played all day long.

Ready.....Set.....GO!!!

So this is the finale picture of the hunt. So as you can see, he got his "nake". Once he picked this up, he was good to go, Jason had to urge him to pick up the other stuff. They had pudding cups, big bags of cotton candy, stuffed animals, toys, and a whole bunch of eggs. He was so thrilled to get this snake though. Grandma Hale is so happy to have this in her house, she is a huge fan of "nakes".
The city committee made it quite clear that parents can be out with the child BUT cannot pick anything up themselves or else. And can you believe there was defiant parents that didn't listen. It's so frustrating, it's just an Easter Egg Hunt, for cryin' out loud.

This was right before the siren of the Fire engine went off. With all the confusion from the past hunt they had posters everywhere about the siren. But the wind picked up and we had Spencer's ski coat over his jacket and then he had gloves on also. It was so cold. Little Lincoln's stroller was covered with jackets by this point, to keep in the heat.

This was prior to the cold wind when it was bearable with just jackets. See how early we were, there was nobody around. As opposed to seconds before the hunt started when you are getting pushed out of the way. Jason was so pushy....just kidding....but man, you'd think it was Black Friday out there and their was money in those eggs with the way people were acting.
