Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

DISNEY ON ICE with the 2 boys!!

We treated the 2 older boys to Disney on Ice. We had a great time. We always take Trax downtown so the fun lasts longer for the boys. It's always nice when the show is over and the boys are sad to say that the fun is not over because we still have our train ride home to look forward to. It works like a charm. This was the first time Lincoln has joined in on the fun. We don't take the kids til their old enough to enjoy it. This was definetly the year. Both boys sleep with their Mickeys so it was time. Lincoln loved the train ride, which was another first for him. He just stared out the window the whole time saying, "Wow". It was fun.
This is me trying to get the glare of the kids faces from the window, but it didn't work.

All ready for the show to begin. We were lucky to get floor seats. It's the way to go. The boys got star treatment with a lot of high fives from the characters. They loved it!!!
This is where we sat. It was so awesome.
Lincoln had no idea what to expect. Actually we kept this whole thing secret from the 2 boys. We never told them where we were going the whole night. We just said it was a surprise for them. We told them we were going on a train ride to somewhere magical. Spencer asked, "Are we going to disneyland" and after I cried a little I told him "no, sorry" so he then guessed, "oh I know, we are going to Sea World". I have no idea where that guess came from. After we got off the train we went over to the Gateway and ate at the food court. Then we walked over to the Energy Solutions Arena and when we walked in Spencer said, "Oh, are we going to see the rodeo". I said yup, you guessed it. When he saw all the Disney merchandise he was so excited. He guessed it right with us saying "no we are going to the rodeo". He said, "No mom, I want to see Disney on Ice this time, not the rodeo". It was fun playing with them.
Lincoln with mom.
2 pretty excited boys

The show was awesome. I loved it also.
"Whoa is me, it's half-time already."

The boys had a fun time waving at all the characters. It was fun when they would wave at them back.

I don't think the boys ever put their hands down. They waved the whole time.

Spencer at intermission.
This was so cool.

Ham came right up to Lincoln. At first he didn't know what to do. He was so stunned. He's never been so close to such a huge piggy before.
He was so excited.
This was the kids favorite part.
Lincoln was wanting them to come over to him again.

At the end they came right over to the boys and gave them both high fives. They felt pretty special.

Lincoln wanted to give them all knuckles. Can you see his knuckles out. So funny.

It's over and Spencer was giving his dad a big high five. We were pretty cool parents this night. It all ended when we told them it was bedtime. Just kidding!!
Lincoln's turn to give his dad a high five.

So innocent (looking). He is so up to something with this face. But it's still cute.
These are the Mickey ears we got at the show. We got one hat to put up on their shelf in their room. So they both wanted a picture wearing them before they get put up. I know, mean mom. If I didn't they'd be trashed in 5 minutes.

The family picture minus one. It was a good night. The first and last one for a while. So we took advantage when we could, it was good we did.
