Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

All updated!!!

Ok, so after many many posts, I am all up-to-date. I really need to put my camera away more often so I don't get so behind. But whatever, I will try to stay updated more frequent than not. Or that is my goal, and I will try to do better. But I can't promise it. I think I'm doing good just feeding my children 3 times a day, keeping them clean and making sure they are happy. And that doesn't happen every day....I mean the keeping them happy part. ;)

Lucas' 1st time with rice cereal

So the doctor at Luc's well child check appt. says it's time to start feeding him rice cereal. So this is how the 1st time went. He was so ready sitting in his bumbo. He actually caught on really fast.

He was so good at it.
I couldn't feed him fast enough.
This is when he was waiting for his next bite. "Come on mom, get it in my belly!!!"
And of course, it's all fun and games until they learn how to spit it out. They think it's so funny too.

And when the spitting happens, it's over for me and him. I don't find it funny at all.

I will put my foot down, I will.

Happy Father's Day, honey!!!!

I this this man. I love how he plays with his kids, I love how he misses them when he is at work, I love how he misses me when we are away and I love how he loves us unconditionally. He is a terrific man, father, husband, brother, and best friend. I am so lucky to have him in our lives.

He is also so handsome!!!!

This week we also took Lucas in to get his tear ducts roter - rooted or whatever. He has had the nasty gunky eyes since birth and we finally had had it. It really was Becky who told me they could get it done this soon. My doctor won't touch it til their a lot older, but the doctor she works for does it when they are really young. So we made the appointment and Becky worked us in and we got it all done in one day. It has made all the difference. It was a little freaky at first when they brought him in crying after they did it and he was crying blood. But that only lasted about 4 days and now we have tears people. ACTUAL tears coming down his cheeks, it's so great. I mean, we don't sit there and pinch him so we see tears but when he does cry they don't gunk up his eyelashes together and make it so he can't open his eyes. I guess the doctor said the right one was really blocked. He had to stick a metal something or other down his tear ducts and pop the membrane that should have already been opened at birth, but it's all done and he has the longest eyelashes and the bluest eyes. It's so great. Thank you, Becky so so much. It's made all the difference.

We went to a local bakery and this is what the boys wanted. So yummy!!! It was there treat right before bed, I know, but splurging now and then doesn't hurt ya.

Lincoln's treat.

Our happy boy the day we brought him home from his eye surgery. So happy!!!

Our 3 sons. Happy and healthy, for now.

This is at the Herriman fireworks. It's so cool because around here you can find a fireworks show almost every Sat. night in June. It's so awesome for the kids, ok for the adults also. This is Lincoln watching the fireworks. It's crazy what a year does. Last year he didn't like the booming at all. Now that was his favorite part. He kept saying, "Wow, those booms are so wow".

Spencer was freezing so Jason had him all wrapped up in the blanket. It was so crazy....this is Utah weather in the summer.....shorts during the day, pants at dusk and sweaters and blankets at dark. Crazy!!!! At least that's how it's been this year.

Waiting for the show to begin. Lucas was so happy to be there.

The boys love the light up necklaces and toys so we bring ours from home and the boys are happy. It's crazy to buy a $5 item that glows when you can buy the same thing or better for $1 at the store beforehand and just bring it with you. Same thing applies to things at places like Disneyland. I always buy the kids disney things at home and bring it with us and they don't know the difference.

The kids love to look at the firetrucks at these events. I think it's because we always tell them that their Uncle Jonny is a fireman and this is what he uses and works with all the time. They love their Uncle Jonny!! They think that is so cool!!

Lucas with his toy giraffe. He loves that thing.

Lincoln waiting for us to go to the fireworks show.

Little boy Lucas. Come blow your horn.

Kambry's Blessing/Mother's Day/Hale family get-together

On this Sunday it was another one of those family packed sundays. First we had Kambry's blessing in the morning then we went to the luncheon afterwards and then we stayed at Kevin and Tenille's house for our monthly get-together with the whole family (we missed you Brett, Becky, Micah) and on top of it all it was Mother's Day. We had a great time and what a treat for Tenille to bless her baby and prepare for a bunch of people to come in their house for a luncheon and the best part was that their bishop put her on the spot right in sacrament meeting and asked her to bear her testamony. It was so awesome. Probably more so because thank goodness our bishop never asked me the month prior with Lucas' blessing, I think he knew we probably would move to a different ward after that. But she was a great sport and did a fantastic job. Happy Mother's Day, Tenille!!!!
Anyways, in this picture this is how I find Lincoln all the time. He gets in the carseat and zips himself in. It's so funny!! I think he misses it a little.
This is just one of those pictures you have to have. I think EVERY dad has to try this out with their newborns or at least with the boy ones. They just think it's the coolest thing to do. The dads, I mean, not the babies. They are just glad they are being held.

So these next pictures are the monthly pictures we take of Kambry and Lucas to see how they have grown. It's so funny because everytime we put them next to each other, Kambry touches him somehow. She either holds his hand or grabs something of his. Come on, their only babies. But it is cute, so here is the progression of how she attacks him, in a playful, loving manner. Here she goes. Right for his ear. He doesn't mind.

And now she has it and doesn't know why it won't come to her so she can put it in her mouth.
He apparently likes it.
And that's how it was until we picked them up. She just had a hold on his ear for the rest of the evening. ;)

Jason holding the smiling Kambry. She's happy as long as she can see her mom. She's such a mommy's girl right now and Tenille is eating that up. Kevin on the other hand.....

Another picture of the 2 babes.

So this is Kambry's room. I know it's probably wierd that I put this on my blog, but I am so proud of Kevin how he did this all by hand. the trim work is amazing and he pieced it all by himself. All the concept was his. It's really amazing. It turned out so cute. It looks like it should be in Pottery Barn Kids, it's that good.

So I'm a little obsessed. Yes, I haven't been able to have a nursery for my little babes so I have to admire people who do.

Hope you all had a terrific Mother's Day!!!

A very special day - May 6th, 2011

This was a VERY VERY awesome day!!! Kambry was sealed to Kevin and Tenille. I borrowed these pictures from Tenille because I had to doubley show how amazing this family is. I am so excited that Kevin and Tenille have this beautiful, adorable, amazing little girl in their lives. She is a bundle of joy and sunshine. It's incredible. So thank you Kevin and Tenille for letting us share in this amazing experience. (and thanks for letting me steal these great pictures)

I even stole this one because I liked it so much. Oh come on, I know I didn't ask, but you would to if this was you. This picture is pretty cool.

This little girl is loved beyond belief. She is so amazing. She is carried into a room and the room suddenly will lighten. It's so unbelieveable and incredible and the same time.

This picture is so cute it doesn't need explanation or anything. Oh, I did anyways, oops!! Oh well.

I have only seen Kevin this elated one other time - when he was sealed to Tenille. He had a glow on him these 2 amazing days. It was such an awesome experience to witness.

I love this family.

Now to my pictures that I didn't steal. Lincoln was so happy to be there also.

This picture is so precious.........of Linc.

Lucas is a ball of laughs. He loves to smile and coo.

He can go from smiling to this serious look in nothing flat. And yet, you still want to nibble on those cheeks.

This is the only picture I took myself of flowers. All the rest were taken by my very talented sister who had my camera when I was in the temple.
She took some amazing photos. I love how she had my camera. I was totally lucky. Thanks sis. Love ya!!!

So the kids got a little restless when we were waiting for Kev, Tenille and Kambry to be done with their pictures to be taken. Soooo Jason decided to entertain them. They LOVE going in the air.....over concrete.

Lincoln's turn.

Spencer waiting patiently so I grabbed the camera.

I have no idea where he got this face from. I was sitting there and he says, "hey mom, take my picture." And this was his pose. I don't know. I just took it and he said, "Do you know why I gave a thumbs up" and I said "no" he said, "it's a thumbs up for Kambry, she's in our family now and I'm so excited because I love her." I totally agreed.

I was sitting there and this is what I looked up to, so I snapped a picture. Awesome, huh!

How can you not think this building is just amazing? It's so breathtaking to me.

THis is Lincoln showing his emotion of pure love of Kambry....or he was a little on the tired side....I think it was the first.

Another shot of handsome Spencer.

Our family on the steps.

Lincoln with his dad.

This picture looks bad. It looks like he's eating me.

I love to get this kiddo to smile.

Lincoln was in no mood to get in this picture. So we did it without him. That's how we roll around here.

So this is the start of Joni's amazing eye. Enjoy!! I love them. Thanks Joni.

The temple grounds were so breathtaking. The flowers were so perfect. All the rest of these pictures are taken from Joni when Jason and I were inside. She was so awesome to watch the kids for us. Thanks again.

I love how the flowers popped!! Kevin and Tenille couldn't have picked a more perfect day to do this thing. Job well done guys.

I have tried to teach my kids to smell flowers and not touch. See how much they listen when I'm not around. I wonder whatelse they do when I'm not around. I really don't want to know probably.
See they listen.....with probably some coersion from their aunt.

It doesn't matterwhat clothes my boys are in, they will always scale any ledges they can find.

I LOVE this picture. Good eye, Joni. Good eye, good eye, good eye.

Another incredible shot. I really wish I could take credit for them, but I know I'd hear it late if I did that.

This picture was taken right before we went in he session.

This was taken right before we left for the temple.

Such an amazing, incredible, heartfelt, tearjerker of a day. I felt so special to be a part of it.
