Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Bowler family reunion

This is at the cabin my Uncle Tom has in the Uintahs. We had our own little reunion there. It was such perfect weather (around 55-60's) at night and high during the days were around 65-70. It was so nice.

This is what we did at night. Smores, yummm! Spencer wanted to throw sticks in the fire rather than eat the smores. That was okay by his dad and I, more for us. He's not really a sweets kid. He's rater have pretzels than ice cream. I know, wierd. But hey, we aren't complaining.

St. George trip

This isn't St George but I thought this was a cute father-son picture.

Spencer and I hitched a ride down to St. George with some family so we could support Brodie Perry in his awesome performance in Tuachan, he played a lead role in Les Miserables. He was so great!!!! It was so fun seeing it. I love ya, Brodie!!!! You are such a professional.

We also had a wedding of Jason's cousin the day after that. So it was a full weekend. The wedding was fabulous and Spencer and I had a great time. It was so wierd being without my other half, but Jason had to work and so he wanted me to be there to represent our family. I'm so glad I went, both the wedding aand Brodie's performance were top of the line.
We went to the Washington rec center to swim at their huge pool. It was so fun. Spencer didn't want to get out.
Spencer was soooo cold. Can you see his blue lips?
This was after the pool. He was so done. He crashed hard. He didn't even finish the bottle.

Last of Bennett reunion pics

Spencer finally took a break from running around the 2 acre property. Mom also had to sit down and relax. So I thought why not take a picture.
My mom's cousin is huge in collecting carriages. She has donated a lot to different places around Utah. This was in her carriage museum in the back of her property. Its a huge building underneath her landscaped property. She took us to see it by taking us in her golf cart that she has to go around her property. It was crazy!!! In the museum this day she had about 15 carriages. She always is in the Days of '47 parade in one of her carriages.

I told Spencer that this one was like Santa's sleigh. He thought that was pretty cool.

Bennett reunion

This was at the Bennett reunion (Grandma Matthews side of the fam), Did you get that? This was at my mom's cousins house in Sandy. It was only mom and I and Spencer that went. The cousin whose house this was at is a maticulous gardner. She used to work on the grounds at Temple Square and now she just does her own home. She has 2 acres of all landscaped yard. She says she does it all herself. She doesn't trust anyone else to do what she does. It's truely amazing. She has waterfalls and streams going throughout her property. It was so fun to see it. She drives a golf cart around to get to place to place.
Spencer had a blast running up and down all the hills and over the bridges and down the rock walkway over the waterfalls. It was exhausting following him around everywhere. There was so many places he ran to.
Time to smell the flowers.
My mom's cousin has these type of benched and chairs all around the property. She probably had a hundred or even more. It is an amazing yard.

Days of '47 parade

We went to the parade downtown. Jason had just worked that night so he went right from work to pick us up and then we headed downtown. He's a good trooper. He was so tired. But we had a great time.
Spencer didn't understand why they had to go by so fast though. He kept waving at them as they past, but when they did go by, he wanted them to come back.

Cute father-son moment.
