Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Micah came to visit and she also brought her parents along (heeheehee) and Spencer and her had the best time trying on all the costumes we have. They would put one on and model for everybody and then another and another. They had a blast. This is Spencer in his Mickey costume and Micah as a horse. Spencer loves his cousin Micah, as you can see, he wouldn't stop sharing his love.
This is a cute outfit that Jonsie gave Linc for his birthday, it's so cute, thanks Jonsie, it looks great on him.
Lincoln playing PEEK A BOO when he's eating, it's not the funnest when you're trying to feed him, but he finds it a pretty fun game.

Posing for a picture
It's so great that I can get all the kids sweaters out. I have fun dressing them.
I have no idea what he's doing!!! He loves to lay face down for some strange reason.
Lincoln has a thing with getting into all the bottow drawers of Grandma's kitchen.
I love this picture for some reason, it's Spencer giving some brotherly advice to Linc.
These few pictures are more of the costume changes.

Micah got this cute vest and DSC jacket from Joni, they are so cute on her, good job Jonsie, she loved them.

Jason took Spencer out for a little shopping trip, but now I see these pictures I think it was a excuse to take Spencer to see this Star Wars Clonetrooper made entirely out of Legos. Spencer wouldn't stop talking about it all day after that. And now that I think about it, I don't remember Jason coming back with any groceries that day. You know, the reason he had to leave for a while, with Spencer. Hmmmm!!!

Happy Halloween!!! From Us

Spencer LOVED being M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E. We had a good time this Halloween, we spent the 30th with Alisa at her work going to lunch with her and then trick or treating at her office, then Mom and I took the kids over to Alisa's ward Halloween party that night. We had a great time with her and the ward activity was really fun. Thanks Alisa for letting us hang out with you all day.
Lincoln was a chicken on the 30th for the party but I got so sick of people mistaking him for a girl, they kept asking Spencer if his sister wanted some candy. He was royally confused. So on Halloween day we changed his costume.

He was a ferocious lion!!!! Doesn't he look ferocious? No mistaking him today as a girl.

This is what Spencer's candy total was for 3 outings. We went to the mall earlier in the day and then when Jason got home we went out around the neighborhood. He kept asking all night "I want to go to the spooky house" then when we went to a spooky house he'd say "ok I'm done with the spooky house, I don't want to go in the spooky house".

Lincoln doing his chicken impression

This was at Alisa's office. Elder Anderson was on the phone so we didn't get to say "hi". He was sad after he found out we left without saying hi.

These are our pumpkins we carved. I carved this one. Good, huh!!! It was the easiest one to do.

Jason did this one, Spencer picked it out and was determined we do it for him. It was the hardest one to do in the whole book. Jason was a good guy to do it for him, I did 2 while he worked on this one.

This was my second attempt. It was a little harder than the 1st one I did.

Another picture of Jason's masterpiece.

Spencer loved when the pumpkins were all done but it was a different picture when we were carving them. I thought he's love to stick his hand in and scrape the insides out, no was I totally wrong, he hated it. I asked him when he had his hand in the pumpkin if he liked this, his response was "Ackchally, no!! I don't like this at all". Who knew my son wouldn't like his hands dirty? We kept asking him to squish his fingers together and he said "Ok, I'm done, now I've got to wash my hands with lots of soap". He then went and sat with Grandma Hale and watched us carve the rest of the pumpkins. It was pretty funny.
This was his face the whole time he was touching the pumpkin guts.

This was when we first began scraping the insides of the pumpkin, Spencer had no idea what he was getting into.

Lincoln's 1st & Spencer's 3rd

I'd like to thank everyone who came to my boys birthday parties. We had such a good time. We had a joint birthday party for them at Grandma Hale's house and we had such a great turnout. I'm sorry that some couldn't make it and we missed you all tons (Toledo's, Brett & Becky & Micah, and Christian and Deanna), but overall we had a great time. Spencer had a good time with the camera taking pictures of all the guests so if you see a * by the picture, that was taken by him. He did an awesome job. He loved saying "Say Cheese and smile" and "Say disneyland" to everyone before he took the picture. I have to start him off early, he's a great photographer.
I love to decorate for the 1st birthday bash so I went crazy with the crepe paper and then I put up crowns and 1's with family pictures when they were one on them. Then I put up a picture for every month till their one. I left Spencer's and just added Lincoln's underneath. It turned out really cute. Thanks Jonsie for staying up late with me and helping me. You are super creative and I needed that that night. She did most of the pictures of Lincoln I really just sat there and watched, so thanks again, Joni. I love ya tons!!!
Spencer and Lincoln loved passing through the entryway.
Can you see the crowns and 1's. They are really cute.

*picture taken by Spencer. Cute, huh!! Joni is such a babe!!!!
*Spencer's a great photographer
*Kev with his friend
*Mom never smiles for pictures, so now I know Spencer has to take it to get her to smile. Who can resist Spencer?
*Zach posing for Spencer
*Aunts Alisa &Tenille
*Uncle Bri and Aunt Tena

So I had done Spencer's hair all nice for the party and when I wasn't watching Uncle Kev decided he wanted to do it differently. So if you can tell, he's Alfalfa now. I was so happy!!!!?
Lincoln after he destroyed his cake. He's wrapped in the tablecloth he sat on on the floor.
Can you see all the cake on him? He loved getting it all over, his dad helped, of course.
This was my first attempt on making a cake from scratch. It was a chocolate pepermint candy with chunks of chocolate inside. I also put some pepp. candy in the cake mix. It was soooo good, it was so much better then the one I made down south. Doesn't it look semi good? It didn't look like the picture in the cookbook, but it still was good.
This is a before and after of Lincoln's cake to destroy. As you can see he did just that. I made it from the reduced sugar cake mix and frosting. I know, I'm a party pooper.
Jonsie gave Spencer this cool DSC sweater. Thanks Joni!!!
Tenille and Kev gave this cute outfit to Linc. Thanks guys, he's worn it a lot!!!

This is Spencer waiting patiently for his party guests to come. It was so cute, he got so excited when someone came to the door.
I made this shirt for him the day before the party. Can you tell what it says? It says " Does this shirt make me look 3". He loved having a 3 on his shirt
