Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

I know this is a little late to post, but I just got it off my camera and I had to show it. It's so cute. This was a cute little skit that Grandma Bowler put together. She even made all the costumes. It turned out really cute.

What's Happenin'

So I know I don't really write much on the goings on with our family. So I decided I better start. It's just easier posting pictures of Spencer. But I better let everyone know what's up with us. Well, really nothing much. That's it. Jason is working his little tail off and I am just taking care of Spence. We did get an exciting calling in our ward though. It's never good when the bishopric starts off by saying "Well, as you know every calling in the ward is very important." And then he adds, "If you want to think about this first, that's okay". I thought we were doomed by this point. I was thinking the worst (even though every calling is great, I know) but I was thinking very negative that day. So we are officially, nursery teachers. I know, I panicked for no reason. It's not that bad, even though there are supposed to be 4 teachers in there and usually it's just Jason and I that show up. Oh well. They said they wanted us not to just be babysitters and just sit in a chair and watch the kids play but to interact on the floor with them. If you know Jason and I, we don't just sit and watch, we are on the floor totally into the toys. It is so amazing watching Jason interact with those children. He is a kid magnet and they are all over him. It makes my heart melt. It's very cute. A lot of the kids don't want to leave at the end. We have rally enjoyed the kids.
Let's see, that's pretty much it. Spencer has loved having a Grandma just upstairs. I thinks he likes it too much. He knows if we are being hard on him Grandma will save him. He really misses his Papa and Grandma in St. George. He walks around saying "DAD, MOM, PAPA" He hasn't gotten Grandma down yet, but when he does that will be added to his rambling, I'm sure of it.
We celebrated 6 birthdays in my family this last Sunday. (We have so many we group them together.) It was so fun. We did miss Brett, Becky and Micah though. A LOT!!! It really wasn't the same without them. But we managed to have a good time visiting. It's so fun when we have a family room full of people with 6 different conversations going on at the same time, it's my type of party.
Well, that's it folks. Not that exciting, but it's my life and I love it. Spencer keeps us on our toes and keeps us laughing constantly. He is our little comedian. We love you all very much and miss all of you we don't get to see very often.

The finale of Dad's home from work

Spencer loves to have his neck tickled and Jason knows the exact place. I am so grateful to have a husband that doesn't mind his son much. Just kidding, Jason's great with Spencer and Spencer adores his dad. I am so lucky to have these two men in my life. I love them both tremendously. I am extremely blessed. Jason, I love you so much!!! Thank you so much for loving me so much.
I have two princes in my life and they are my life.

Dad's home from work part 2

Spencer loves his dad. Even though he runs away from him when he gets home. He loves playing "catch me if you can, dad"
Dad showing his son how to show off his muscles. SO STRONG!!!

Dad's home from work

After all the snow and getting all wet, Spencer needed a break from his clothes.
He loves to be clothesless.
Dad doing the airplane. Of couse right after he had a bottle. Makes life more interesting, I guess.
Spencer enjoys every minute he gets with his dad. Can you tell?

Snow Fun!!!!

Spencer woke up from his nap and this is what we went outside to. It was a clear morning and the snow was melting away, but I guess it didn't want to go away just yet. It was coming down hard. Spencer was mesmorized.
This was Spencer's reaction as the snow was falling on his head. He was just enough out of the door to get it on him. If he had just stepped in one step, he'd be free and clear of the snow. But NO he couldn't listen to his mom. He wanted to get all wet. And he did.
So I smarted up and put a coat on him and took him in the garage where he could have a better view and still he went out far enough to get wet. He's definately a boy!!

Silly Spencer!!!

Peek, mom. I try to close the curtain to keep the water in when he is doing his heavy splashing, but he is too clever for that. He just pulls the curtain back and then splashes.
This is his cute frog towel he got for Christmas from his Uncle Bri and Aunt Tena. He loves it.
This is the "I'm up to no good" face.

Day in the life part 2

As I said previously, "Pencer" (as his cousin Brenna calls him) loves to get bubbles on his face. It's funny how he does it, he leans over and puts his face in the water.
He doesn't mind it at all.

Day in the life.....

So Spencer now loves to climb and get into a heap of trouble. He is fearless, which makes his mom very nervous. He loves to stretch the limits on where he can go and can't go. As you can see here we have to keep everything on this side of the bar, empty, very empty. As you can see I did not take this advice and Spencer could sense it.
And this is the reaction I get from him when he gets caught. Now how can you get mad at that face. It's very frustrating, really. I can just say, I try.
Spencer loves his bathtime. He likes to lean over and get bubbles on his chin. It's so funny. Some times he gets a little too many bubbles on his face. He's a character.
Let me just tell you that the inside of the bathtub isn't as wet as the outside of the bathtub. He loves to splash. We have to close the curtain to keep most of the water IN the tub.
