Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Decisions, decisions.......

Spencer wanted to choose his Halloween costume for this year, so we got them all out and tried them all on. Spencer is dead determined to be Mickey Mouse again so we had to put it on and see if it fit. I tried to get him to pick something else, but with no avail, he didn't change his mind. Lincoln on the other hand, I have no idea what he should be. He's cute in everything we put on him. What do you think?
This will fit maybe next year, this year it's too big.
Spencer has a lot of choices to choose from, but he is a Mickey fan through and through.
Lincoln dressed as Winnie the Pooh dressed as a bee. I know, confusing, but cute.

The Mickey costume barely fits Spencer this year.
I don't know what the hand gestures are for, but if Spencer does it, so does Lincoln.
I love this dog costume also. I can't decide.

Lincoln wearing his dad's school hat.

So does this picture show you that the boys are Mickey fans or what. I mean they sleep with them and walk around with him all around the house. We had Jonsie pick one up in Tokyo Japan Disneyland for Loncoln because they fought over Spencer's all the time. So now they both have one. Thank you, Jonsie. It's been a life saver.

Cory's 16th and Spencer's 4th birthday party

9-26-10
Cory was getting ordained on this Sunday as a priest (CRAZY) and after that we headed over to Bri and Tena's and celebrated his 16th and also had another party for Spencer. We had a good time together.
Aunt Alisa is a miracle worker to get this kid asleep with all the craziness going on all around him. I was in awe. I had to take this picture because of how he had his hands. Sooo cute and good going Alisa, you have the touch.
Spencer got this Star Wars Trouble game from Bri and Tena. They must know him or something because this was definately a hit with him. He LOVES Star wars. Did you know?
Spencer "the cool kid". Doesn't he look the part?
Grandma Hale got him this Leapster game. He played it all the way home.
These movies were gifts from Aunt Alisa. She knows what he likes also. He watches these all the time.
Lincoln playing "peek-a-boo"

Uncle Kev helping Lincoln with his shoes. It is a very cute picture of the two of them.

Spencer waiting patiently to dig in.
Tena was so sweet to make 2 separate cakes for the 2 birthday boys. They were so yummy!!!

Ready, set, blow!!!

I think we needed a little more choices of ice cream, we didn't have enough. What do you think?

We had a great time with the family. We missed Jason, though. Another party he couldn't attend, jobs really stink!!! At least his does.

Fun times

So how much would this package cost to ship?
Do you see something wrong with this picture? I had to snap the picture before I told him, no. You know, priorities. Please again, I know I say this a lot, please don't turn me in. I shouldn't have to say that so many times, huh. What's wrong with me?
Giving me the pouting lips. I think this is when I told them that I was gonna ship them somewhere. Just kidding, I would never say that.....out loud.
This is Lincoln giving me his plea and smile so I give in and keep him. I guess, it worked.

Spencer got this fun little set of play dough from his Primary teacher, Sister Boone. He adores her. I don't have the heart to tell him that she won't be his teacher forever. He would opt for that, for sure.
These are the cool prizes they picked out at Chuck E Cheese's.
Such a proud 4 year old.
In the elevator at the mall. The boys thought it was so cool they could see themselves, all 3 of them.
We had to run into Foot Locker for Jason and Lincoln is giving this headless manaquin a high 5. He was a little freaked out at first. I mean, the dude doesn't have a head. That's strange.
This is Lincoln checking him out to see if he's ok. The guy didn't give him a high 5, there must be something wrong with him.

Chuck E Cheese's - Sept 21,2010

It took us a while after Spencer's actual birthday for Jason to be able to have a 1/2 day off to spend it with us. So we went to Chuck E Cheese because that's the commercial he just saw on the tv and wanted to go there. So off we went.
We went in the middle of the week at lunch time so we were the only ones there. It was really fun. The kids had free reign on anything they wanted. We had a cup ful of coins and they just went from one game to another until they tried them all. Spencer was in la la land, he had a blast.
The place was just as I remembered when I was a kid. They haven't changed it at all. The pizza was good, I remembered it being better, but the kids liked it.
This was exactly the same as it was when I was a kid, it's crazy. I kept saying to Spencer "You better eat that pizza all gone because Chuck E's watching you". A little creepy, I know, but it worked. That's all that matters, right?
Lincoln didn't believe me about the Chuck E watching you bit, so it took us a little more convincing on our part.
The boys enjoying the show as they ate.
They loved all the games there.
They especially loved the car rides. Whose boys are these?
We collected all the tickets in the end and the boys got to pick out a prize, a perfect ending for them. They both picked out this cool rocket toy that shoots a foam dart.
Jason trying to show Spencer the trick to this game.
Spencer was fascinated by the large band. He thought they were so cool, just like I did back in the day. We had a fun time with the boys with their dad. Anytime we get with Jason is pretty precious these days. We take any second we can with him. He is so busy and the boys love spending time with him. So this was a very good day.
