Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Day 1 - California trip, May 5th

We had a fabulous trip to CA with our two oldest. Luke was dropped off the day before with this Grandparents in St. George. It was a total surprise for them, we headed out at 5am by putting them in the car in their pj's and when asked, we said we were going for a drive. It was really fun! This picture was at 6am when they decided not to go back to sleep. Thank goodness for the use of Grandma and Papa's minivan. It was a lifesaver!
When we got to the hotel at around 11:30am,Spencer said, "Oh, I know where we are.....we're back in St. George". So we checked in and got on the bus to D-land. We told the bus driver it was a surprise so she turned off the speaker that announces where we were headed. They both said they wanted to go swimming. This is on the bus.
When the bus dropped us off they still had no idea where we were. Spencer kept asking why Jiminy Cricket was on all the garbage cans. We took them right up to the gates and we askd Spencer to read the nearest sign that said Disneyland, they freaked!!! It was awesome!!! This is on Main Street.
I couldn't go on a lot of the big rides so Spencer and his dad went on those and Lincoln and I went on the smaller rides. So this is Linc on the Buzz ride. He loved spinning us around more than shooting the blaster. This was our 1st ride there. Spencer and Jason went on Star Tours as their first.
 Winnie the Pooh ride.
One of Lincoln's favorites. He kept waving and yelling, "Hi Pooh....Happy Birthday".
 Our family shadows.
This was up Tarzan's Treehouse. It was a lot of stairs for Lincoln and I to climb, but we made it!!

 Me and my 2 boys!!
The castle at night.....so pretty. We waited til 9:30 to see the fireworks and the boys were total troopers. We were all up and at 'em at 5 in the morning and didn't stop the whole day. The boys were so good, they never complained at all. Lincoln watched 1/2 of the fireworks, put his head on my shoulder and said, "Ok Mom, I'm tired", and fell asleep.
Spencer stayed awake until we got back to the hotel and ordered pizza, he ate 2 pieces, asked for another breadstick and then fell silent. He fell asleep right after the breadstick hit his plate. It was so funny. He was totally OUT!!
This is Lincoln after we got him back to the hotel and woke him up long enough to bathe him.
Our messy hotel room. It was a nice place thanks to family that changed their plans last minute. We are totally appreciative. It was perfect timing.
So this was our first LONG day in Anaheim. The next day we headed down to San Diego for Sea World. More pictures to come.....
