Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Visit to Brett and Becky's new home, the car show, and more

Before I show you the first 2 pictures, let me explain. So Jason and I took a date night to the movies and before we went we put the kids down in their beds, so my Mom just had to be upstairs in her home and listen for them. So we got back from the movie and was told that the boys did come upstairs a few times to ask for stuff. We went downstairs, opened the door and this is what we found.
Spencer had taken both pillows off his bed, one for him and one for all his friends. Then he tucked them all in and fell fast asleep on the floor. Do you see his alarm clock right next to him. It's the Lego Darth Vader. It was so funny. Then we walk down the dark hallway and Jason steps on something, we turn on the light and find this in the hallway.
Lincoln had camped out in the hallway with his Teddy. Can I just ask.....what's so wrong with the kids beds? They have to be more comfy than the floor. Right?
Now on to the visit to Brett and Becky's new house. This house is amazing!!! I love every square inch of it. This is Micah's "kid heaven" as she named it herself. And it really is. It is so fun. It's the loft area that is off there den. I've never seen stairs go up from the den before. I love it!!! So the kids really were in heaven the whole time we were visiting. Jason, Brett, and all the kids and I went out to lunch and then took the kids to see, "The Lorax" (which I thought was really cute). It was the best day!!!
This is Linc and Luke playing in Micah's play house up in her "kid heaven". They had a great time.
This is Micah's room. She just got this new bed which is so cute. The kids were playing a board game on her bed. They really had a great time together, have I mentioned that already.
Lucas was loving all the space to walk around. They didn't have any on their funiture in yet, so the room was all open and perfect for a 1 yr old.
That same weekend, we took the boys to the Car Show at the Expo Center. It was so fun. The kids loved all the different "cool" cars as Lincoln would say to every car he saw. This was Lincoln's favorite. It was a old VW Bus all decked out. I think he just liked the huge tv inside it. He said, "Mom, we need one of these". I said, "yup, we do, now go tell your dad that".
So all the next pictures at the Car Show are our favorite cars. Spencer and Lincoln would point out their favorites and say, "Ok mom, can I get a picture with this car". So I did. This is my absolutely favorite classic car. I've wanted one of these since I saw it on "Home Improvement", when Tim dropped a beam on his wife's 1967 Chevy Nomad. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Oh well.
Spencer had to get a picture with this actress from the Disney Channel tv show, Shake It Up. He was so star struck, it was cute, but it didn't make him mute, he was complimenting her up and down.
Lucas and me in front of the Jelly Belly truck. It was great, they had tons of free samples that we took every advantage of, I think we walked past this booth 4 or 5 times taking samples. I love Jelly Belly's and now so does Lucas and the other boys. It helped with keeping them in line. Bribery......works every time.
All my men in front of Jason's favorite. Or should I say, one of Jason's favorites, he had a lot. Let's just say, this is Jason's candy store.
The boys wanted a picture with this cute little bike. Lincoln said this is a "Lucas bike".
Another picture in front of another old car.
I have to admit, I wouldn't mind having an old Bronco like this. It was pretty sweet.

Lincoln kept saying, "Look Mom, Chewy is driving the car". Even though it was just a big monkey.
I HAD to take this picture with Spencer in front, it's his favorite color, duh!!!
The boys liked this Flag car, as they named it, the Old Glory Truck.
We had to get a picture with Luke in it.
Now it's Lincoln's turn to get a picture in front of his favorite color car. Purple. And it's also another favorite of mine too. I love the Chevy Nomad's. I want one!!!
The boys in front of the Monster Truck. It was ginormous!!!
I also would love to have one of these VW Vans. I think they are so cute.
Spencer loved the art on the motorcycles. I had to take this picture, he said. It's incredible how talented people are.
Spencer was a fan of the this section.
Jason wants to rebuild one of these. We have found a scrap one down south that he wants to get his hands on. Eventually when we get into our own place with a Man Cave garage, I know this is going to be his hobby. He loves rebuilding cars. I helped him with his 1967 Mustang, that we had to sell once we got it perfect. It still makes him tear up, if you bring it up to him. The worst part is, when we visit down south, we see it on the road everytime. It is gut wrenching for him.
The boys playing in the bathtub having a great time.
Lucas loves the water. They would play in there for hours if I let them. The sad thing is is in the end of playtime, there is more water out of the tub then in. I think that is there goal. Little stinkers!!

Look how the happy face can transform so quickly and then this face can suddenly be happy again in seconds. He is so funny!!
Oh the joys of spagetti!!!
Luke makes me laugh every single day, he is such a funny kid. He loves to tease and just is the happiest kid. I love him so much and am so grateful that he is in our family. On a side note: Tenille, I love this shirt on him. Thank you for getting it for him for his birthday.
