Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Linc's 5th birthday and Disneyland!!!

Lincoln turned 5 the week before we went to DLand. So instead of a large party, we decided to celebrate it there. We asked him if that was ok and he was all for that. So he was VIP for the day at preschool and we had a very low key birthday.
 He loved his presents.
He also got a scooter and a cool helmet.
We headed to St. George a day late for our vacation because Lucas got really sick on the day we were going to leave and we had to take him to the doctor and get some antibiotic shots. But the next day we headed down and had a little celebration for Lincoln.
We left the next morning for Anaheim and Quincy was staying behind with Papa and Grandma Bowler for the week.
We left at 5am for Anaheim. The car was packed with all sorts of goodies and we were on our way.
Our first day was a down day, just to check in and do whatever we wanted to get all ready for a week of fun. We decided to head to Downtown Disney and walk around, but quickly discovered that was a bad idea because the boys just wanted to go into the parks. So we went and hung out at the Lego store for a while and then headed back to the hotel.
It's so insane what they build with tiny little Legos. I was so impressed.
This was Luke's favorite part....a life size Hulk!!! He was in heaven.
Linc trying on my sunglasses. Cool dude!!!
Our sleeping arrangements. This will be the last time that 2 full beds will work.
Our first day in DLand. Our hotel gave us breakfast vouchers each morning so it was great to fill our bellies before we started our long days.
This was our official booth each morning. I don't know why they always stuck us in the corner.....what am I saying, yes I do.
 Dad's words of wisdom beforehand.
Mulan was the first person we ran into right as we got into the park. Luke didn't know what was going on yet, so he opted out on this picture. He was a little weary of this whole amusement thing. It took him a while to get the hang of it.
Right after Mulan we turned and saw Mickey....Lucas flipped. He was so excited. He didn't want to wait in line to see him. That was a whole new experience for him.
 Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Snow White.....so awesome!!
Lunch break and silly face contest.....ready...go....
 Tuckered out!!!
 T I double GERRRRR!!!!
 Eeyore lovin'
This was our first time with autographs. I made a book with these cards in them for each character we might run into....the boys had a blast asking for their autographs and seeing them write their names.
 Pooh time!!
This is my favorite ride at Halloween time. I love how they have it all decked out as Nightmare Before  Christmas.
Our tradition is for their first visit to Disneyland, they get Mickey ears with their names on it. Here is Luke wearing his right out of the store.
We absolutely love Disneyland. It's so magical there. And now watching my boys enjoy it too....it's so amazing.
Luke loved wearing his monkey backpack. I took this picture because I thought it was so cute....he was actually talking to his monkey asking him if he was having a good time.
