Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

The boys were invited to a neighbors birthday party. It was so cute. They had it all camoed out and they had one of the uncles come in his military uniform and had the kids do some workout routines. It was really fun.

In this one Spencer is showing the kids how to do jumping jacks. Can you see what Lincoln is doing....yes I think they would kick him out for these shinanagins. He jumped around with that hat over his eyes. He's such a comedian.

THen after the kids did there warm ups, they were rewarded with dog tags with their names on it. It was really cool. The guy saluted each kid and they did it back to him. So fun!!

This is Lucas thinking he's such a big boy. He has figured out how to pull himself on his feet, they once up, he holds on for dear life.

Do you like the tail? Yup, I was too lazy to do up his onesie. And the award for best mom goes to.......

This is his satisfied face.....yes, he says, I am so big.

This is when he was jumping fast asleep.

This is how Lincoln watches tv. You have to cross your legs with your hand on your chin.....concentrating, is what Spencer says he's doing.

Another shot of Lucas....fast asleep.

We took the boys on the new Trax that runs right next to our house that goes downtown. We had a great time. It was Lincoln's birthday, but since we already had a party for him, we just hung out as a fam. It was really fun. Went to the Planatarium and walked around Gateway. So fun. Lincoln's favorite part was the "Choo choo twain".

So Lincoln is a fireman cowboy. He couldn't decide which one to wear, so he wore both.

My referee cowboy!!!

Fireman referee

THey then had the kids decorate sugar cookies with skittles and starbursts. It was so fun for the kids.

Sorry these are all out of order. We are now back to the birthday party.

Push ups

THey played "duck duck goose" and Lincoln's turn went "Pig, dog, cat", so as you can see this is his first experience with this game.

So Spencer wanted to read to Lucas while I made lunch for them, but unfortunately he had the idea of putting him on the bottom stair to do this, and after Luke fell forward onto our "BOO" rug this is how his face looked. All scratched up on one side. Spencer felt so horrible. Needless to say, that won't happen again. But after a short cry, all was forgotten.

You can't really see the damage on his face in this light, but it is all scraped from forehead, eyelid, cheek, chin.

So this is how his lip looked after our visit to the dentist, even using the rolls of gauze in his cheek so he didn't bite it while it was numb, he still did found a way. It was so swollen for a long time. Now that it is healed we are going back in 2 weeks for another go at it again. Yipee!!
