Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Christmas with the Bowler fam

So we headed down to St. George Christmas afternoon. We got there at about 5:30. We had a great night and since little Tessa girl was sick we got together the day after and had our celebration with everyone. When Prentiss and her girls arrived, we set Brooklynn down right next to Lucas. It had to be the cutest interaction ever. They just looked at each other and smiled. It was so cute, I had to take a lot of pictures, so bare with me, there are a lot. But I couldn't just pick a couple out to post. They really were adorable together. It just is so sad that they don't get together more often. I know they will be the closest cousins when they get bigger. Lucas will totally be a little protector towards her.
It is so cute how they can't talk, but they don't need to. The way they were together was enough. They would reach out for each other and laugh.
It is crazy how two kids can look so much a like, but yet are so different. From the nose down, these 2 ar identical. It is so cute. They even sound the same. It's so fun!!
Luke just loved how someone was small like him.
"Man, she is so cute."

Poor Tessa girl was so sick. She was such a good trooper to come and be with the family.
Brooklynn being adorable as always.
The boys opening up their gift from Grandma and Papa. It was the perfect gift, a fire station that came with furniture and a police motorcycle and fire truck that lights up and makes sounds and a whole bunch of awesome stuff. It is really cool. The boys have loved it. It really was the perfect gift for them. Even Lucas plays with it.
We had a great Christmas and the boys got totally spoiled. We all did really. It will be a Christmas we will never forget. We got to spend some great time with family, which was the best gift ever. Jason took his vacation time, so we got to have him for the entire week, it was absolutely perfect.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was a little hectic. We got up and got ready for church at 9. We decided to go to Kev and Tenille's ward because their church was the earliest. And we thought it would be pretty cool to be all together at church. So after I got myself ready to go, we woke up the kids and they ran upstairs to see what Santa brought them. Then we hurried and got them ready and headed to church. It was great.
The boys all ready for church.
The boys were so tired and not all that willing to wake up ths morning, until they saw what Santa brought. Then they perked up pretty fast. The boys all got Christmas jammies that they opened the night before. Such a great tradition.
Lincoln showing me how to use his new cup from Santa.
Spencer loved his new hat. Both the older boys got them and they wore them all day. They wanted to wear them to church, but we told them they can put them back on right when we get home.
It actually worked out pretty perfect having our own little christmas celebration the morning before because then we got to enjoy christmas by going to church and hanging out with family before driving down south.
Lincoln figured out how to turn on his toy. This was his reaction when it came on.
The boys got m&m fans from Santa. They were a huge hit.
Lucas giving his dad a high five.

We are so blessed. We tried our hardest to instill in our children the true meaning of Christmas. Spencer puts it perfectly when you ask him why we have Christmas and he says, "Well, we have Christmas because Christ is the beginning of Christmas."

More pictures of Hale family christmas party and Christmas eve

Lucas got this cute towel from his Aunt Tena and Uncle Brian. It is perfect.
Lucas loved his presents.
He loved the wrapping paper also.

This is the funniest thing to watch. Kambry opens her mouth so wide to make sure she gets all the food in her mouth. I keep trying to get Luke to watch her so he can do the same. He barely opens his mouth to eat.

My boys love to dance. You put music on and they all start to boogie. It's so cute. Even Lucas is in on the dancing.
Look at Lincoln's moves. He must get them from his dad.

We decided to open all the presents from us to the kids on Christmas Eve morn so we can get ready to head down south. So this is the loot the boys got.
We had a great morning. We got up, opened gifts, packed up to go to St. George and then got a phone call that Christmas Eve was cancelled down south due to illnesses, so we got to play with our gifts and headed down the next day. It all worked out.

This is my kind of mess. The kids had a great time opening up their gifts from each other and mom and dad and we just got to relax. It was a fun Christmas Eve.

Christmas with the Haleions....I mean, the Hale's - Dec. 23rd

We had a great Hale Christmas party. We had yummy food, great conversations and just a grand ole' time. Here's some of the pictures from that night.
Lincoln thought it would be fun to wear his Uncle Brett's boot as a glove. It looked so funny that I had to take a picture.
Why is it that I have my boys dressed so cute and then at the end of the night, this is always how they look. It's a little frustrating......but at least he still is cute without the sweater on....right?
This is the outfit we got Kambry. I think they liked it, she is so adorable.
The boys opening up some of their gifts. They struck gold this Christmas. They really got spoiled.....it's too bad they didn't deserve any of it. Heehee!!
Kambry blowing kisses. I really can't get enough of her, she is so cute.
So Christopher Pop-in-kins dropped in the night if Thanksgiving and he popped into the most outrageous places. Here are just some of them. He popped into Spencer's stocking.....
then Lincoln's stocking....
This is what happens when Lucas drinks too much. He really should cut back. We keep trying to tell him, but he's not listening to us.

Our sweet boy.
Christopher popped in by our star...

This was the most unique.... in our gumball machine. The kids were fascinated with this one.

This is our Hale family picture. I don't know what happened to the picture, some sort of reflection off something, but oh well. Alisa got better shots, thank goodness. It was about time for this picture, the last was only with Micah and Spencer. So yes, it was time.
