We are heading to Disneyland next Monday and it's been so fun for Spencer to countdown. When we first decided to go and made the arrangements, Spencer asked everyday if "today we are going to Disneyland" or "Ok put my shoes on, let's go to Disneyland". So I decided to make a paper chain countdown for him. He koves taking off each ring and counting the rings left every night before he goes to bed. Then he remembers the next day how many days are left. It's been really fun. He is so stoked!!!! And yes, I am also.It's a much needed vacation that this family really has needed. Then when we get home, we need to make another chain for Christmas. I love it!!!

CUTE idea for him to understand how long is left!!
that is exciting. I have seriously thought of using whats left of my student loan in january and going to disneyland...for sam's birthday. Have a fun time. paula
