Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Joint birthday party

We decided to throw a party for Lincoln and Spencer on the 25th. I figured since the boys don't have school friends yet that we would just combine it this year since the same people would be to both. We had a great turn out. All of our loved ones were there. I think the only one that wasn't was Becky and Joni and they were surely missed.

These pictures are all out of order, but oh well. Spencer and Lincoln loved all the presents they got. Thank you again for all the great presents, they have been having a blast opening and playing with each one all week long.

The boys diligently opening up their presents.
Spencer having a blast with all the family around.

Kambry having fun with her new shoes.

Lincoln with cupcake all over his face. YUM!!!

Lincoln is helping Spencer blow out his candles that re-light. I think they added so much spit to the candles that eventually they didn't re-light. GROSS!!! I think most of the family ate a cupcake from the other cakes. This one was all the boys. Maybe that was their plan.....hmmm....smart boys.

Emma is showing her support.

Kambry and Lincoln enjoying the outside air.

This pinata was 2 yrs old and it showed. It took us 4 different times to re-hang it after it kept falling apart after one hit. Poor pinata. But eventually it did get hung and 1 hit and it was all over.

Emma with her little swagger. So cute!!

So as I was taking pictures of the pinata getting beaten, Lucas was loving life, I found out that Adrian was feeding him a sweet tart, the 1st candy this kid has ever had. He was loving it. And thank goodness I love Adrian because this kiddo had a sour tummy all night. Oh well.

The poor pinata kept coming off the hanger so eventually the kids were beating it on the ground. Jason went and got it hung but we had to put a hole from top to bottom and slide the rope through it. That worked.

Sam taking a whack at it.

Again it's on the ground.

Lincoln's turn.

Emma tapped it like a princess.

Micah decided to take a place by her dad. She decided not to take a whack at it. But she did get candy, which is the most important part.

The Toledo family. We love them so much!!

Tena, Bri and Christian just chillin'

Micah, Kambry and Alisa.

This is when we made the cupcakes, the boys liked to like the beaters after each batter was mixed.

Sam and Spencer dancing

Spencer wanted me to take a picture with him and the cakes. He helped me make the turtle cake.

This was my 1st and last attempt to make a cupcake cake. It didn't work out all that well. The liners were supposed to be the best liners to use and they all were falling off. It was so sad. But the boys didn't care and Spencer was stoked he got his turtly cake since green is his favorite color. As long as they were happy, I was happy.

I made 3 kinds of cupcakes, red velvet, rainbow chip and devil's food. They tasted good at least. That's all that matters, right? I just won't be in cupcake wars, that's all.

I had to take a picture of these balloons. These balloons are from when Lincoln had his surgery on Aug 7th. Alisa brought them over for him and they have been up ever since. I think they are possessed. It's no way they should be floating still. It's crazy. Maybe since they came from Aunt Alisa that they are full of love and so that's why they are still floating. Yeah, that's it!!!

Lincoln helped me with the veggie tray. He liked the olive part the best. Can you tell? Why is it that kids do this? I think every kid I know has done this with olives. It's so silly.

He was making this face because he said he was a monster. "Arg!!"

Lucas wearing Sam's hat.

Sam thought it was funny to put it down over his face because it looked so silly with the eyes on it. He made a cute little platypus.

Haircut time!!!

My boys were turning into little girls with their long hair, so I said it was time. Jason whipped out the clippers (or should I say weedwhacker) and away he chopped.

This is the before picture. I can't believe how long we let it grow before we do something about it. It's really ridiculous to me how that is. They look so good after, why do I wait.

This is Lincoln's crazy mop.
It's out of control!!

Lucas was enjoying the show from the bathtub.

I think he was just happy he didn't need a turn.

He's loving the fact he can sit up in the tub like a big boy now.

Lincoln's wondering why a cat is on his lap.

This is how much hair was cut off of Lincoln's head. He didn't like all that hair on his lap.
