Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Bowler Christmas Trip

We had a little blow out with little Colton right before we started opening gifts, so I had to take a picture of all his goodness. He was born on Sept 7th, so as you can see he's not starving. He's so cute. It's unbelievable that this kiddo has already started teething. That's so early. I feel for you, Amy.

Prentiss, Jon and Tessa
Spencer giving his favorite Great Grandma Woodbury a big big hug for his awesome book she gave him. He loves it.

Why in the world do we spend so much on kids toys when all they want is the packaging. Lincoln played with all the wrapping on the floor for the whole time we were opening gifts. We had to make him stop playing with it for him to open another present, then he went right on playing with the garbage. Really, why do we do it.
See, he's in heaven in the makeshift garbage can that we put all the wrapping paper in. He was having the best time.

Spencer grabbed the camera and took this one of his favorite Papa.
So let me explain the next pictures. So the boys were both taking a nap and everyone had arrived so I went and woke them up (after 2 1/2 hr nap, mind you) and this is how they were the rest of the night. They were being the naughtiest kids ever. All they did was whine and cry....it was exhausting. I wanted to disown them for sure this night, it just went on and on and on. We hadn't taken a family photo with the Bowler's for about a year now, so everyone was perfect except my kids. It was horrible.
Lincoln wouldn't stand on the chair with Spencer without throwing a fit, so I had to hold him and still all he did was whine.
None of these pictures turned out any good.
Now in these pictures, Spencer wanted to sit on my lap but there wasn't any room on my lap with Lincoln who wouldn't let anyone else hold him, not even his dad. So then all Spencer did was cey because he thought he wouldn't be in the picture. It was so horrible, my kids totally ruined these pictures. Can you see Spencer's face all red and splotchy. Yup, fun times.

We took a trip to Gunlock to see Grandma and Grandpa Bowler. We hit rain and snow on the way there and then the whole time we were there the flakes coming down were humungous. Sorry for my spelling, but really they were HUGE, probably the size of softballs, it was unbelievable. But we had the best visit. It kills us how long it had been since we were there last. We need to make this trip everytime we go down to St. George, but it never seems to happen. So we were so thrilled to visit and see them. The boys had a blast visiting with their Great Grandparents and Jason's Aunt Gail. She hit it over with the boys right off, it was crazy how fast Lincoln was sitting on her lap talking with her. That was totally impressive.
This is our view from the road to Gunlock. It doesn't so it justice, it was so pretty.
The boys in Gunlock watching the snow fall. They were fascinated with how big the flakes were. You'd think by watching these boys they'd never seen snow before. They were just amazed.
I wish you could see the snow fall. It covered the ground in seconds.
The boys hugging their Great Grandma Bowler.
I wish dad could've joined us so we could've had a four generation picture here, but maybe I will just photoshop him in, if I had that program. One day I will.
Grandpa Guy Bowler is the cutest grandpa ever. He is so loving and sweet. He knows how to make you feel so special like you are his only grandkid. It's such a remarkable talent he has. He is a remarkable man. Our newest addition will have Guy as his middle name, for this man.
The boys with their Great Grandparents.
All of us

The boys can just tell this man is amazing because they couldn't stop hugging on him. I think kids can sense when others have that amazing qualities in them.

Brenna and Spencer singing christmas songs together. It was cute.
Tessa looking like she's up to something. She is so cute.
This is when we were all packed and ready to go home. Lincoln was having a hard time. He thought we were leaving him or something because everytime we took a bag out, he freaked. Maybe he didn't want to leave, it was so sad.
Spencer had to have his Mickey in all these pictures with Grandma Woodbury. He is obsessed with Mickey, he has to go on every trip with us and sleeps with his every night. He will freak out if Mickey is not in bed with him when he goes to sleep. It's kind of creepy. Lincoln is the same way with his Teddy that Tenille and Kevin gave Spencer as a baby. My kids are just strange.

Lincoln being Lincoln. It's so hard to get a good picture with this boy. He is so picky when he wants to smile or not. Spencer is just the opposite. He'll smile whenever, but with Lincoln it needs to be his idea. AGGGGHHHHHH!!!
