Disclaimer: I have made this blog for the intent to show loved ones what we've been up to lately. I also want to one day print it out and have it as a journal for the kids. I am not doing this to brag at all. I just thought this is a great way for you all to see what life's been like for us and what we've been doing. I love to see other people's blogs and see their pictures and see what they've been up to. That's all I'm doing here. Thank you!

Conference weekend

We still put Lincoln in Pull ups at night, even though they are always dry, we still don't want to take the chance. So after he goes to the bathroom in the morning he knows to change into big boy underwear.....but this is usually how he comes out. Silly kid!!
Reflections paper done.....thank goodness....next is the Science Fair project
This is a great way to keep the kids quiet and entertained durning General Conference. Thanks to their Aunt Alisa who supplies the websites to go to. THey love to color each speakers ties and do all the activities.
Lucas just loves to bug the other brothers bu handing them all the colored pencils one at a time until all the table is full of them. Then we put them back and he starts all over again. Hopefully next time he will be more into the coloring part.
Science Fair project here we come. So we decided to do the Soda and mentos. Since he is just in kindergarten, we just have to make it as simple as possible, which is totally ok by me. So he guessed the Diet Coke will go the highest when you add the mentos candy. It was a fun experiment. I couldn't beileve how high they went. We eventually by the end had most of the neighbor kids watching too. It was fun.
This is his thumbs up that the Diet Coke will go the highest and he was correct!
He held the gadget that held all the candies in and then he was the one to pull the string that let the soda fly.
 Lincoln was totally amazed!!
The experiment was a success and it was fun to measure how high they went. We went by the top of the eve and guesstamated how much higher each went. We measured that the top of the eve was 17 ft and the Diet Coke went about 29 ft. It was crazy!!!
I got video of each one and now I am going to put together a video to play at the Fair. We also need to now put together the board and report it all. So those pictures of the finished product will come later. We just  needed to get this part done on one of Jasons days off.
It was really cool how high the soda went. And it wasn't a bad clean up either, Just hosed off the driveway and that was it. I think Spencer loved it!!

Lincoln cracks me up!!! I'm glad you all had such fun with that science fair project but who wouldn't. Making pop explode like a volcano would be fun...and sticky. I love those boys of yours!!
